	Solitude 2400 words October 2009	A rogue star is a star that has escaped from its parent galaxy, left to wander in the cold darkness of space. A pair of scientists living on a planet around just such a star must deal with the discovery of stars beyond their own, and the realization that they may not be alone in the universe, after all.
	The Red Ones 1500 words September 2009	A young woman contemplates the contents of her cup of fruit salad and winds up making an important decision about her own life.
	Mirror 2800 words September 2009	A scientist makes an amazing discovery about the origins of mankind, and a zealous young man must confront what meaning the discovery has for him.
